Sam Harris’s Free Will is messing with my head in a brilliant way. For example, I found this ordinary sign surprisingly thought provoking.
I’m also frantically trying to figure out what the consequences of illusory free will might mean for education. But could I have chosen to react differently to his book? Not really. And for reasons unbeknownst to me, I also find that refreshing.
